IGNITED features an intimate list of invited guests, complimentary eats, and cocktails, held in an intimate space. A mixer with an eclectic mix of different “liked-minded” people each time, each IGNITED installment promises to be a not-to-be-missed experience.

LIGHT UP Livernois celebrates design and creativity on the historic Avenue of Fashion. Makers, artists and designers from Detroit collaborate with local small businesses to shop, dine, and explore the various ways design surrounds us in our everyday lives.
Join us and experience design through open studios, fashion vignettes, musical performances, and small business showcased along the avenue.

Detroit’s summer music, fashion, fun and food festival, is a season highlight, of the historic Avenue of Fashion shopping district, with throngs of residents strolling the Avenue, shopping for deals on mostly one-of-a-kind works of art, ethnic fashion boutiques with men, women’s and children’s apparel and designer home goods.
The annual event on Livernois Avenue between Seven and Eight Mile roads originated as a day for entrepreneurs and business owners to show customer appreciation by offering deals and special giveaways for their support and patronage. Lined with fantastic eateries including Kuzzo’s Restaurant, the International Avenue Café and Bucharest Grill, the eclectic strip showcases live jazz, in celebration of the thriving shopping destination for locals and residents around the city.

BLACK Friday SMALL BUSINESS Saturday right after Thanksgiving Thursday in November. Park, walk, shop, dine and explore Livernois Avenue for the holidays from Eight Mile to the Lodge.
Great bars, great restaurants and great sales, the last Friday and Saturday in November kicking off the holiday shopping season along Livernois Avenue in Detroit.

The
Independent Retailers’ Association (IBA)
annual merchants’ Christmas Party happens on December 22, and kicks off the final 3 days of holiday shopping before Christmas. This party connects, recognizes, and celebrates Detroit-area entrepreneurs, particularly those merchants along the 3-mile stretch of Livernois, between 8-Mile Road and The Lodge.
